What is Auburn CityFest and who runs it?
Auburn CityFest is Auburn’s largest, FREE, outdoor festival. It is hosted by the City of Auburn Parks & Recreation Department.
When and where is Auburn CityFest 2008?
Auburn CityFest 2008 is April 26, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Keisel Park in Auburn, AL. This event is always held the last Saturday every April.
How do I get to Kiesel Park?
From Interstate 85:
Get off at Exit 51 and turn north onto College Street (Hwy 29) and drive 1.3 miles. Turn left onto Shug Jordan Parkway and drive 1 mile. Turn left onto Wire Road/Lee County 137 and drive 3 miles. Turn right onto Chadwick Lane and drive 1.1 miles. Turn left into Kiesel Park and look for Green and Pink vendor parking lots.
From 280 East:
Turn Right onto Hwy 147 and drive 2.8 miles. Turn right onto Shug Jordan Parkway and drive 2.5 miles. Turn right onto ramp that will take you to Hwy 14. Turn right onto Hwy 14 and drive 2 miles. Turn left onto Lee County 51 (Chadwick Lane). Drive 1 mile and Kiesel Park will be on your right. Look for Green and Pink vendor parking.

Where can I find accommodations in the Auburn/ Opelika area?

What am I allowed to bring into the festival?
Dogs on leashes, chairs, blankets. NO ALCOHOL.
What age is the festival geared towards?
All ages. This is a family fun event. There are activities for children and adults.
What is your policy about weather?
This is a rain or shine event!
Where can we park? Is there handicapped parking available?
Designated lots are provided. There is also handicapped parking available.
Are pets allowed on the festival site?
Pets are allowed as long as they are kept on a leash.
How much does the event cost?
The event is FREE!!!
Can my business set up a booth to publicize our organization?
Only if your business produces handmade arts & crafts or artwork. Regular businesses are not allowed to set up at CityFest unless they are an Official Auburn CityFest Sponsor. This is not a business showcase.
How can I become a volunteer?
More than 200 volunteers helped make Auburn CityFest 2007 a tremendous success!! If you are interested in volunteering at Auburn CityFest 2008, please download an application from the Applications Link on our Website. We appreciate your interest and support in this community event.
What types of exhibitors are at CityFest?
Auburn CityFest 2007 attracted hundreds of Fine Arts, Arts & Crafts, Food, and Non Profit exhibitors. The festival featured everything from homemade crafts to fine, folk and hip artwork from some of the most intriguing artists in the nation. We are looking forward to continuing the CityFest tradition in 2008 by offering the community more vendors than ever before. How can my company become a sponsor?
On the Sponsors Page, you will find three sponsorship packages available for Auburn CityFest 2008. However, we can customize sponsorship packages to meet the specific goals and objectives of your organization. With your sponsorship, we can again provide an enjoyable, free, family event that showcases the arts and entertainment and provides people the opportunity to participate in a unique celebration that signifies the Auburn spirit and sense of community.
