The BSA believes helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible and productive society. The Saugahatchee District is comprised of more than 25 units in Lee County and is part of the Chattahoochee Council based in Columbus, Ga. Join us for a variety of demonstrations and activities. For more information about Boy Scouts, visit beascout.org or saugahatchee.org.
Southeastern Raptor Center
Raptors have three physical characteristics that set them apart from other birds: strong grasping feet with sharp talons, a hooked or hook-tipped beak and a diet that consists mostly of meat. If you like the sound of that, you’ll love visiting the Raptor Center at this year’s Auburn CityFest. The Auburn University Raptor Center is bringing some of their feathered friends (eagles, falcons, hawks, owls, etc.) to Kiesel Park, giving Auburn residents a chance to get a closer look at, not only the eagles that fly at the football games, but also other types of raptors. Stop by the Raptor Center exhibition to check out Auburn University raptors and learn more!
